A deep sorrow hung over Ale Luwu. Batara Ratu, We Datu Sengeng, and We Tenriabeng prepared for their mystical journey. Sawerigading, too, readied his voyage to Ale Cina.
Sawerigading, familiar with sorrow, gazed at the port. "My last moments here," he thought, the weight of departure heavy. His ship, the Walen Renge, was ready.
Yet, seeing Batara Lattu and We Nyili' Timo, his parents, his resolve faltered. A tremor ran through Sawerigading’s voice. “I cannot, Mother, Father,” he whispered, his heart aching with the impending separation.
We Tenriabeng, his sister, approached him. “Sawerigading, you must go,” she urged gently, understanding his struggle. “This journey is for our future. You have to take this vital step.” Her voice carried quiet strength.
Tears streamed down Sawerigading’s face. “This is the most painful farewell I have ever known,” he confessed, his voice thick with sadness. His parents watched, etched with hope and sorrow.
La Togeq Langi’ stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Sawerigading's shoulder. “Sail, my son. This is your path to inherit the future,” he advised. “We will support you in every step of this destiny.”
Sawerigading wiped his tears, a new resolve hardening his gaze. “I will sail and remember all you have taught me!” he declared. “I promise to restore peace to Luwu.”
After a solemn ritual, Sawerigading boarded his vessel, posture straight and determined. “Prepare the sails! We set forth!” he commanded, his voice now firm. The calm sea seemed to bless his journey.
Yet, just as the ship began to stir, a crucial message for his parents flashed into Sawerigading’s mind. He quickly reached for a messenger bird. “Return to the palace! Ensure they are ready!”
The bird soared away, leaving Sawerigading in silence. His boat moved from shore, yet his gaze remained fixed on the receding land.
Soon, the dark ocean began to weep, mirroring the sadness in his heart.
“Farewell, Luwu!” he cried, his voice strong and resolute, unwilling to harbor regrets. Through the rain, he left his homeland, ready to challenge the new world in Ale Cina.
